UPDATE (6/23/23): The show has been canceled. More info HERE.

What do you get when you combine one of Milwaukee’s best bands (that would be Bug Moment) with one of Wisconsin’s most beloved fast food franchises (that would be Culver’s)? You get an unlikely, sure-to-be-delicious, ButterBurger-tastic punk/emo/rock ‘n’ roll show!

That’s right: Bug Moment—along with Chapped Lips, Honey Creek, Excuse Me Who Are You?, and Garden Home—are set to play a (free!) show at the Bayshore Culver’s (300 W. Bayside Dr.) on Saturday, July 22. “Doors” open at 6 p.m. Music runs from 6:30-10:30 p.m. The show will be held in the parking lot, and Culver’s will be open the entire time. Incredible.

“How this happened was that we posted on social media that we want to play at a Culver’s,” explains Bug Moment frontperson Jasmine Rosenblatt, “and my friend who works at Sky High Skate Shop said that the owner actually knows George [Dimitropoulos], who owns the bayshore Culvers! We reached out to him and he was super down and into it right away, and has been super nice and accommodating. Really great guy. We are expecting a pretty huge turnout. Some people are even talking about flying out to Milwaukee just for this show! It’s going to be a night to remember.”

So there you go! Will Bug Moment play its excellent new album The Flying Toad Circus in its entirety while customers wolf down cheese curds? Will Culver’s bring back its delightful CurderBurger for the show? (A CurderBurger encore, if you will.) Will Craig Culver himself DJ between sets? Do we file this article under Music or Food/Drink? WHO KNOWS!

Once again: Incredible. Mark your calendars! Buckle up! GO AHEAD WITH YOUR ORDERS!
