The 2024 Milwaukee Film Festival kicks off Thursday, April 11, and runs through Thursday, April 25. (Get your tickets and passes HERE.) During that two-week stretch, your friendly neighborhood Milwaukee Record will be sponsoring MFF2024’s “Cinema Hooligante” program—a.k.a. the midnight/horror/bizarro program filled with films both strange and terrifying. And on Saturday, April 13, at 10:15 p.m., a certain Hooligante film will screen in the Herzfeld Cinema at the Oriental Theatre: Late Night With The Devil. It’s one of the most talked-about horror films of the year.

Wouldn’t it be fun to get ready for this hyped flick by bowling a few games beforehand at Landmark Lanes? It would! So let’s do that! That’s right: on Saturday, April 13, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., we’re gonna bowl! And so should you!

It’s easy: Just show up! We have three lanes reserved, and bowling, shoes, and a pitcher or two of beer (and something non-alcoholic) are on us! First come, first served! Just a casual game or two of bowling, and then we’ll walk next door and see Late Night With The Devil! Fun! (The film also screens April 19 at 9 p.m. at the Avalon Theater, and April 24 at 9:15 p.m. at the Abele Cinema in the Oriental Theatre.) A few games of Elvira’s House Of Horrors and Bram Stoker’s Dracula pinball in Landmark’s arcade would also be appropriate.

See you Saturday!
