The list of things you can and cannot bring into a ballpark is long and confusing. But at Milwaukee’s American Family Field, a few permitted items stand out: personal size food items and one-gallon clear sealable bags. What if some intrepid (and hungry) Brewers fans combined those items so they could essentially carry in their own, oh, let’s say, spaghetti dinner? What would that look like? What is AmFam Field’s spaghetti policy?
Wonder no longer. On Tuesday night, a group of Brewers fans led by local treasure Yung Mitch (he of #HammsWithALemon fame) successfully carried in and enjoyed a full spaghetti dinner at AmFam Field. Pasta, sauce, meatballs, cheese, garlic bread, the whole damn thing. This fantastic feat of frugal fun was captured on video by another local treasure, Bert Lauderdale. “The spaghetti policy is real, and it is good,” Bert declares at video’s end. Hell yeah.
Oh, and the Brewers trounced the Arizona Diamondbacks 13-2 Tuesday night, with Sal Frelick ending the Crew’s 10-game home-run drought with a solo shot in the second. Coincidence? Absolutely not. Bon appétit!
