Have you been hankering for a new tacos and tequila place in West Allis? How about a tacos and tequila place in West Allis that has an elaborate backstory involving a world-traveling luchador and the culinary discoveries he makes along the way? If so, hanker no more.
This fall, Casey Rataczak of Rebelhead Restaurant Group—a.k.a. the group behind the Camino in Walker’s Point and the Camino in West Allis—will open El Impostor. The new tacos and tequila concept will be located at 7413 W. Greenfield Ave., in the former Benno’s Genuine Bar & Grill building.
“El Impostor will serve tacos and tequila borrowing inspiration from all over the place, having some fun with flavors, and seeing what happens when you stop worrying about the rules,” reads a press release. “Every story has a hero. Ours is a luchador.”

So let’s get to that mysterious luchador! Here’s the rest of the press release. See you this fall, El Impostor—if that is your real name.
But this isn’t a wrestling restaurant. Our luchador is a storyteller, a traveler, and a culinary explorer who has gone far beyond the ring in search of inspiration. Along the way, he’s discovered flavors, ingredients, techniques, and food traditions from around the world—and brought them home to where every great journey begins: on a tortilla.
At the heart of the restaurant is the taco, but we’re approaching it with an impostor’s sense of curiosity and adventure. Mexican food provides the foundation, while influences from around the globe inspire unexpected combinations and new interpretations. Familiar flavors may show up alongside surprising ones, but everything ultimately finds its way back to the taco.
Our luchador is the spirit behind it all: bold, colorful, curious, and a little larger than life. Imagine a character who’s been everywhere, tasted everything, and has a story to tell about every dish he serves.
The restaurant itself invites guests into his world. From the visual identity and atmosphere to the food on the plate, every detail is part of the journey—a celebration of where tacos come from and the places they can go.
This is a story about travel, discovery, and the flavors we collect along the way.
And if there’s one thing we hope people remember, it’s this:
Our luchador has traveled the world, and tacos are how he tells the story.
