We previously hipped you to some of the films coming to Milwaukee Film‘s third annual Dialogues Documentary Festival, presented by Potawatomi Casino Hotel. Want to see ALL the films that will light up the screens of the Oriental and Downer theaters September 24-27? Now you can!
The full 35-film lineup can be found HERE. It includes previously announced documentaries like the Rocky Horror-centered Time Warp and the Milwaukee-focused Heavy Is The Crown, as well as just-revealed selections like the Alicia Keys doc Girl From Hell’s Kitchen and the AI investigation Ghost In The Machine.
All-access passes are on sale NOW. An early-bird discount is in effect through September 7.
And since the fest isn’t called “Dialogues” for nothin’, Milwaukee Film notes that “many of the screenings will be immediately followed by talkbacks, Q&As, and/or panel discussions. We’ve indicated a number of these expected post-screening discussions, but they are subject to change. Keep an eye on the online film descriptions for the most up-to-date information.”
Want a sneak peek of the fest? Check out a free-and-open-to-the-public Friends & Family Preview event Tuesday, September 8 at the Oriental Theatre. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The program begins at 7 p.m.
“Our audiences love to immerse themselves in the true stories and contemporary conversations started by new documentaries, as evidenced by the documentaries that have won the Audience Award at past Milwaukee Film Festivals,” said Cara Ogburn, Milwaukee Film’s Artistic Director and lead documentary programmer, in a previous press release. “Milwaukee audiences are curious and deeply engaged, and we look forward to satiating that hunger for nonfiction storytelling with a great set of fresh documentaries at this year’s Dialogues Documentary Festival that are sure to inspire.”
