Today in show announcements that we’re excited about even though it’ll be happening six months from now is news that Ron Funches will be returning to Turner Hall Ballroom on Thursday, August 20. Tickets to the performance go on sale Friday, February 20 at 10 a.m. local time.
We’ve been longtime fans of the incomparable comedian—recapping two previous Turner Hall appearances and interviewing him back in 2017—and, like much of the world lately, we’ve loved seeing him on this season of The Traitors as one of our favorite…well, no spoilers.
Despite being fans of his work in the realms of television—reality or otherwise—and his extensive TV/movie voiceover résumé (including BoJack Horseman, Adventure Time, Harley Quinn, Trolls, Inside Out 2, Bob’s Burgers, and more), we’re eagerly awaiting the opportunity to watch Funches get back on stage to do what he does best. Whether you love his stand up or you just learned about him on The Traitors and want to experience him in a less serious format, you should see Ron Funches when he returns to Turner Hall on Thursday, August 20.
