Remember Wednesday morning, when someone tagged and vandalized the Giannis Antetokounmpo mural in downtown Milwaukee? Of course you do, because it only happened yesterday and because every single Milwaukee media outlet covered it. (Fun fact: Thanks to two dedicated readers, Milwaukee Record reported it FIRST!)
Anyway, because he’s awesome, mural artist Mauricio Ramirez quickly showed up on the scene and restored the mural Wednesday afternoon. Here’s what it looks like now. Good as new!
The vandalism came roughly one week after Antetokounmpo was traded to the Miami Heat, and roughly one day after the city celebrated the completion of Ramirez’ Bob Uecker mural, mere blocks away.
