Every Wednesday at noon, Ryan Schleicher, Evan Rytlewski, and Matt Wild take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. This half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so named because none of the oft-ridiculous views expressed on the show necessarily reflect the views of the hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon. The Disclaimer: Talk radio for the sane.
With Valentine’s Day providing a brief window of love and relative peace (emphasis on “brief” and “relative”; it is 2018, after all), Ryan, Evan, and Matt spend 30 minutes discussing the things they love about Milwaukee. Ryan sings the praises of Milwaukee immersion schools and longtime show promoter Marc Solheim, Evan salutes the burgers at Kopp’s and the Oak Leaf Trail, and Matt makes a case for his beloved Milwaukee County Transit System and Nessun Dorma chicken caesar sandwich. Plus: Will there someday be a petition to remove that big orange sunburst thing from the end of Wisconsin Avenue? And will Ryan, Evan, and Matt be the only three goofs sticking up for it?
