If you’ve been enjoying the last few months of scrappy, small-ball, wildly entertaining, (relatively) blue-collar Milwaukee Brewers baseball, have we got something you probably won’t enjoy! Especially if you’ve been sitting in the front row at every Brewers home game for nearly two decades!
On Monday, the Brewers unveiled details of the so-called Truss Club, a multifaceted premium experience coming to American Family Field in 2027. The experience will include access to a two-story, open-air club called The Truss, which is currently being built outside the stadium’s right-field corner. The 20,000-square-foot Truss will boast “elevated food and beverage offerings,” “sommellier-led wine experiences,” valet parking, and more. The club will open 30 minutes before other stadium gates. All-inclusive tickets will begin at $245 per game, says Brewers beat writer Adam McCalvy, but will only be available to full-season and half-season ticket holders.

Oh, and the whole thing will also include exclusive access to the first five rows of seats immediately behind home plate, as well as a new row that will be added to what is currently the warning track. (McCalvy and the Brewers say the loss of behind-home-plate foul ground will “maybe, but rarely” affect play.)

Do you currently have season tickets for seats in those five existing rows? “The Brewers have scheduled meetings with [season seatholders] this week to determine if they would like to become members of the Truss Club or be moved elsewhere in the ballpark,” reports McCalvy.
And that’s where Front Row Amy comes in.
Amy, of course, has been enjoying her front row seat (and hand-scoring games) since 2009. She’s a Wisconsin celebrity. There are songs about her. There’s a bobblehead. And because Front Row Amy might lose her long-standing Front Row status in the whole Truss Club thing, she’s not exactly pleased.
“Knew it was bad when they called to schedule an in-person meeting,” Amy posted on X Monday. “My meeting is Friday so I don’t have all the details yet but it doesn’t look good. Fans are not first in Milwaukee.”
“Fans aren’t first…. so what is then?” asked one X user.
“Money 💰,” Amy replied. And later: “Fans should sit there not corporate America.”

Oh, and she spilled some more tea, too!

Okay, so the Brewers are bringing AmFam Field up to speed with other ballparks by offering wealthy and corporate folks premium perks and front-row seats. “Elite hospitality”! “Elevated culinary experiences”! “Personalized service”! An “elegant indoor-outdoor atmosphere”! What about the rest of us?
Don’t worry, says McCalvy. There’s that plaza that’s currently under construction on the opposite side of the park. It has a cow. Moo.
