Tuesday night, soon after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz went toe-to-toe with Ohio Senator JD Vance during the vice presidential debate, Lady Gaga appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! What’s the connection? Well, Gaga’s fiancé, Michael Polansky, is from Minnesota. What’s the local connection—a.k.a. why are we writing about it here? Well, early in her appearance, Gaga shared a story about visiting Polansky’s Minnesotan father, going to a Minnesota house party, and, of course, stopping at a Minnesota Culver’s.

“We rented a car and we took a road trip and we stopped at Culver’s!” Gaga says. The audience laughs. Kimmel chuckles, though it’s definitely an “I’m not sure what Culver’s is but I’m going to chuckle anyway” kind of chuckle. Here’s the clip:

And yeah, it was a Minnesota Culver’s and not a Wisconsin/Milwaukee Culver’s, but WHATEVER.

Lady Gaga stars in Joker: Folie à Deux, which opens this Friday. Culver’s beloved CurderBurger available now, through October 14.
