Comedy Central’s The Daily Show had planned to broadcast four episodes from the Marcus Performing Arts Center in Milwaukee during the week of the Republican National Convention, July 15-18. But on Sunday, the show announced that those Milwaukee shows have been canceled. They may be rescheduled “in the coming weeks.”

“The Daily Show will not broadcast Monday (tomorrow) but we’ll be back up Tuesday through Thursday from our NYC studio,” a social media post reads. “Our apologies for the inconvenience, but due to logistical issues and the evolving situation in Milwaukee, we need to reschedule our events on the ground in Wisconsin and will look to make those up in the coming weeks.”

The shows were planned for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Thursday show was planned to be broadcast live, with Jon Stewart as host.

Despite the assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday, the Milwaukee-hosted RNC is expected to go on as planned. Trump is expected to attend, also as planned.
