As you probably know, Milwaukee County Parks’ July 3 lakefront fireworks have been canceled this year due to “lack of sponsorship.” [insert arguing about fireworks, the County, the Parks, and/or anything else here] If only there were other places to see fireworks in Milwaukee! Oh, that’s right…THERE TOTALLY ARE.

“Independence Day marks a special celebration of America in Milwaukee,” said Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson in a special fireworks-related press conference on Tuesday. “This beloved tradition across all our parks is one that families and friends mark as a highlight each summer. The City of Milwaukee is excited and thanks the community and our partners for their continued support.”

Below is a list of July 4 fireworks displays in the City of Milwaukee. (Find even more July 4 fireworks displays in Milwaukee County HERE.) Some parks have activities planned for the entire day, while some parks are doing fireworks only. Either way, those fireworks will go off at 9:15 p.m. And oh yeah, this year’s theme is “Working Together for a Better U.S.A.” ENJOY THE FIREWORKS, MILWAUKEE.
