Back in 2019, Boone & Crockett—in partnership with The Cooperage, Taco Moto, and Pedal Tavern—hosted a celebration of music, food, and seasonal attire known as “Flannel Fest.” That iteration brought hundreds of people to the Harbor District bar on a brisk fall day/night to see performances by a stacked cast of Midwest musicians. It was great!

Since then, Boone & Crockett brought Flannel Fest back in a live and in-person capacity in 2022, then went all out with two-stage celebrations the past three autumns. The event will return for another installment in October, and we think you should save the date because we now know the Flannel Fest lineup (which WMSE unveiled Friday morning) and it rules.

On Saturday, October 10 between the hours of noon and 10 p.m., the parking lot outside of Boone & Crockett and The Cooperage will be alive with autumnal activity. There will be tasty food, delicious drinks, local retail vendors, family activities, a Kid Boogie Down, and an appearance by the Division BMX Stunt Team. A portion of proceeds from drink sales will be donated to Courage House MKE initiatives and sustainability efforts.

And what would a festival be without music? We won’t have to find out because Boone & Crockett has once again assembled quite the lineup. Over the course of the flannel-focused festivities, you can watch a varied blend of some of the city’s best artists and out-of-town headliner Langhorne Slim. Here’s the lineup (listed from headliner to opener)…

The event is open to all ages and free to attend. Clear your calendar, save the date, stock up on some flannel, and head to the Harbor District on Saturday, October 10 because Flannel Fest is coming back. RAIN OR SHINE!
