While many of Milwaukee’s summer festivals, block parties, and other large scale happenings have already come and gone, one of the city’s best fests of the season is still on the horizon. Bay View Bash will return to Kinnickinnic Avenue on Saturday, September 19 and will fill the eponymous neighborhood with 11 hours worth of live entertainment, family fun, retail vendors, food, drinks, and more.
Since there’s a lot of stuff that will be happening on the long stretch of street between Clement Ave. and Potter Ave., we figured it might be a good idea to organize information about entertainers, beverages, food vendors, retailers, and some other aspects of this massive, FREE, and community-focused Bay View block party into one handy guide. Beyond those five stages, there will also be The Bay View Community Center Family Area, which will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offer families the chance to enjoy:
• The Kid Boogie Down from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Jon Newcomb and Friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
• Daley Debutantes from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
• Big trucks from the City of Milwaukee will be on site, along with a firetruck from Station 11 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
• Kids activities, including face painting, games, coloring sheets, journals, jewelry creation stations, temporary tattoos, and more.
Other Entertainment
Folks are encouraged to bring their dogs with them to take part in the Bay View Bash Dog Costume Parade. The parade will start at the Rushmor Records Stage at 11 a.m. before proceeding down KK to the WMSE Stage where winners will be announced. If you and your furry friend wish to be involved, be at the designated area by 11 o’clock!
Drinks
Like recent installments, all the beer stands will serve an eclectic array of local and domestic beer, craft seltzers, canned water, soda, and THC-derived beverages. This year also brings about Third Space’s “Bashful Vixens,” a Bay View Bash-exclusive blonde ale made special for the Bash by Third Space Brewing. Proceeds from Bash Beer sales will benefit non-profits in the 53207 zip code. All beverages will be served in cans for the sake of environmental sustainability. Here’s the full drink list!

Bay View Bash is a free community event that’s executed by volunteers (sign up to volunteer HERE). Money from drink purchases is distributed throughout the 53207 community to nonprofits who directly impact the neighborhood.
