Are you “charismatic, athletic, and enthusiastic”? Do you consider yourself “energetic, outgoing, and comfortable performing in front of large crowds”? Do you possess “strong physical stamina” and, um, let’s see here, “the ability to perform in a full mascot costume for extended periods”? Then dust off that résumé and apply to be the next Bo Vine, a.k.a. the fun-loving mascot of the Franklin-based Milwaukee Milkmen American Association baseball team!
Yes, Bo Vine is that costumed cow that ambles through Franklin Field during Milkmen home games, hyping the crowd and dishing out plenty of high-fives. (High-hooves?) A job listing on Indeed says the position “requires a charismatic, athletic, and enthusiastic performer who can bring the Bo Vine character to life, engaging fans of all ages both in the ballpark and within the community.” Fun!
What are the primary responsibilities of the next Bo Vine? Well…
Perform as Bo Vine at all home games, promotional events, community appearances, and special team functions.
Engage fans throughout the stadium with high-energy antics, skits, and interactions to create a fun, memorable experience. Support fan engagement and marketing initiatives, including social media content and promotional campaigns. Attend community events, schools, and local appearances as Bo Vine, serving as an ambassador for the Milwaukee Milkmen. Collaborate with the marketing and game day staff to develop new skits, routines, and interactive activities for fans. Ensure proper care, storage, and maintenance of the Bo Vine costume and related props. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times while in character, representing the Milwaukee Milkmen brand positively.
Do you have previous experience in “mascot performance, acting, improv, or dance”? Even better! Apply today! (We couldn’t find any info on how much the gig pays.)
The Milkmen’s 2026 home opener is set for May 15. If you’ve never been to a game before, they’re super fun! Even when poor Bo Vine gets no respect… [h/t Barry and Tad]
