Last night, while the Brewers were enjoying a rare day off and we were in the thick of our Pretty Good Online Auction, a metro Milwaukee team was in the process of bringing home a title. That’s right, sports fans! Your Milwaukee Milkmen are the 2020 American Association Champs.

The semi-professional team, which is based in nearby Franklin, took home its first title (in only their second season in existence) Thursday night after besting the Sioux Falls Canaries to win the American Association Finals 4-1. The series win comes after the Milkmen posted a 34-26 regular season record, the best record in the league that was reduced to just six teams this season on account of COVID-19 concerns.

So there you have it…the Milwaukee Milkmen won a title this season. Now enjoy this footage of former Brewers goofball and current Milkmen pitcher Tim Dillard pouring milk on his head.
