Wildly popular country artist Lainey Wilson will headline the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Thursday, June 26, during Summerfest 2025. The Big Gig announced its first 2025 headliner on Monday—254 days long days ahead of the show.

God, it’s going to be another endless winter, isn’t it? Maybe it won’t snow a lot but there’ll definitely be a lot of cold, bleak days where it’s dark at 4:30. Are you going to survive this winter, Matt, or is this the year you finally give in? This autumn has been brutal enough. I honestly don’t know if I can take any more. Think spring. Think Summerfest. Think those Bush’s Baked Beans bucket hats they were giving away at last year’s Summerfest. You can do this. You can survive this. Life is pain and life is long and you have no real choice but to put your head down and endure it…

Tickets go on sale Friday, October 18, at 10 a.m. at Summerfest.com and Ticketmaster.com. You can also get them in person at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater Box Office, too.

Summerfest 2025 will take place June 19-21, June 26-28, and July 3-5. The festival drew 555,925 attendees in 2024, down from 624,407 in 2023. In 2022, Summerfest drew 445,611 fans. In 2021—a late-summer installment and the first year of the nine-day, three-weekend format—409,386 folks showed up. Summerfest 2020 was canceled due to COVID. Summerfest 2019 drew 718,144 attendees. At the time, the 2019 attendance was Summerfest’s lowest in more than 30 years. In general, attendance has declined since the early 2000s, when attendance topped 1 million.
