After two COVID years off, the East Side’s Summer Soulstice Music Festival returned in 2022 with a slightly scaled-down look. Instead of a giant chunk of the North/Prospect/Farwell area serving as the fest’s footprint, the action was largely confined to a single block of Ivanhoe and a single block of Kenilworth. Two main stages (instead of three) contained the day’s live music, while Black Cat Alley hosted DJs and a day/night-long dance party. Sure, it was a smaller, but it was great!

And it’s back! When Summer Soulstice returns on Saturday, June 17, 2023, it’ll be similar to the 2022 setup, though a third stage—on Farwell—will be added to the mix. (And yes, the Black Cat Alley DJ/dance party will return.) As always, oodles of food, drink, arts and crafts, and vendors will also be involved. There’ll be an Adventure Rock climbing wall! There’ll be mini-golf from Nine Below! The action will run from noon until midnight! Here’s the musical lineup for the three stages, plus Black Cat Alley!
