It’s going to be a busy, busy weekend on Brady Street. In addition to the Brady Street Pet Parade AND the Brady Street Art Walk happening on Sunday, October 2, Brady Street anchor Nomad World Pub (1401 E. Brady St.) will be selling plants and a bunch of random Nomad stuff at the inaugural Nomad Bizarre Bazaar on Saturday and Sunday. Ever wanted to take home “nostalgia items like vintage barware, kitchen and bar equipment, tools, furniture, bar stools, beer signs, SUPs, and even canoes and kayaks” from Nomad? Here’s your chance!

“We are pulling out of our storage facility so we decided to get rid of everything and have some serious fun doing it,” says Nomad owner Mike Eitel. “We’ve got non-stop soccer matches, college and NFL football games on the big screen, and DJs dropping by to add the beats to the controlled chaos we are hoping to create.”

The Bazaar begins Saturday, October 1 at 10 a.m. with a plant and pottery sale. Folks will be able to “take home one of the iconic palm trees that adorn the Brady Beach [outdoor patio area] each summer as well as some of recently retired local potter (and Mike’s dad) Dave Eitel’s pottery collection starting on Saturday morning during the plant and pottery sale. Palm tree lovers are asked to bring their own pots and shovels to remove plants as the Nomad patio pots will remain for an autumnal switch for the fall.”

The “buy-a-bunch-of-random-Nomad-stuff” rummage sale is set for Sunday, and will end after the Green Bay Packers – New England Patriots game. (Game time is 3:25 p.m.) Will the game be screened on one of 10 outdoor TVs AND the big screen in the Brady Beach area? Yes. Will there be an accompanying Packers Brat Fry? Of course. Fun!

Also: close off Brady Street to vehicular traffic already!
