Now that we’re almost halfway through the month of November, it’s safe to say it: Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Along with Turkey Day’s approach also comes another annual celebration with a “giving” suffix. On Wednesday, November 27, Neighborhood Theater Group—which consists of Avalon Theater, Rosebud Cinema, and Times Cinema—will celebrate “Hanksgiving” by screening three classic films starring beloved actor Tom Hanks.

The festivities will kick off with a 6 p.m. showing of Big at Times Cinema. That will be followed by an 8:45 p.m. screening of Sleepless In Seattle at Rosebud Cinema and an 8:45 p.m. screening of You’ve Got Mail at Avalon Theater. Tickets to each of these screenings are $6 apiece. However, if you present your ticket from that day’s Big screening at the Rosebud or Avalon screenings, your ticket to Sleepless In Seattle or You’ve Got Mail will be just $3. If you want to spend your Thanksgiving Eve watching iconic films starring a national treasure, Neighborhood Theater Group will be giving Hanks on November 27.

And if that’s not quite enough Tom Hanks for you, you’re in a luck. Another Hanks vehicle (The Polar Express) will be party of NTG’s upcoming “Ho Ho Holiday Bash” that’s bringing yuletide cheer to Avalon Theater, Rosebud Cinema, and Times Cinema in the form of seasonal film favorites that will be screened between Small Business Saturday and December 23. Two of the screenings—December 7 showings of The Polar Express and How The Grinch Stole Christmas—double as $15 “Santa’s Silver Screen Celebration” screenings that include the movie, food/drink pairings, and a visit from Santa himself. Tickets to the rest of the holiday screenings are $8. Here’s the full “Ho Ho Holiday Bash” lineup and schedule.
