X-Ray Arcade is joining the ranks of other area venues in requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for entry. The new policy begins Thursday, September 2.

“Beginning September 2, 2021, X-Ray Arcade will require proof of full vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test result (administered within 72 hours of event) for all ticketed and indoor events,” reads a statement. “COVID-19 cases continue to rise and this is being implemented to keep you, our staff, and our performers as safe as possible.”

Located at 5036 S. Packard Ave. in Cudahy, X-Ray Arcade may be the first Milwaukee-area venue to announce a COVID vaccination policy. City of Milwaukee venues and festivals with vaccination policies already in place—or soon to take effect—include the Pabst Theater Group venues (Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Turner Hall Ballroom, The Back Room @ Colectivo), Cactus Club, The Cooperage, Anodyne Walker’s Point Roastery, the Oriental Theatre, and Summerfest.

The all-ages X-Ray Arcade opened in 2019 in the former site of The Metal Grill and Vnuk’s Lounge. It’s awesome. Here’s the rest of X-Ray Arcade’s statement:

All guests will be asked to present their valid vaccination card or negative test result upon entry (photocopy or digital photos are acceptable). The final dose of vaccination must be no less than 14 days prior to the event. Vaccination cards must also match your government issued ID (Driver’s License, Passport, State ID, etc). Additionally, per CDC guidance, masks are strongly encouraged indoors and will be worn by staff.

All of the above applies to our performers and promoters as well, and our staff is fully vaccinated—we’re all in this together.

If this doesn’t work for you and you need a refund on any tickets, let us know. Refunds will be available upon request until 8/31/2021.

Thanks for sticking with us through all of this. Please continue to take care of yourself and each other!
