Opa! Greek Fest will officially return to Wisconsin State Fair Park this summer. The 2023 installment—the second Greek Fest since the pandemic—will take place Friday, June 23 through Sunday, June 25.

Organized by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Greek Fest typically fills the fairgrounds with gyros and other spit-roasted meats, delicious Greek desserts, Greek music and dancers, games and rides, a Greek marketplace, and much more. In 2020 and 2021, COVID-19 concerns caused organizers to transition the 55th and 56th annual events into a “Greek Fest Drive Thru” outside the church instead of full-fledged festivals in order to allow folks to get Greek Fest food favorites and support Annunciation in the process.

Thankfully, the 2022 edition of Greek Fest returned to the Fair Grounds, where it will take place again this year. This year’s Greek Fest will run from 11 a.m. through 11 p.m. on June 23-24 and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 25. Beyond all the Greek goodies mentioned above, this year’s installment will also feature a Whole Greek Chicken Drive Thru all thee days. There will also be live performances by The First Wave, Boomer Nation, Addiction, and Hot Rod Huey & The B-Sides. Best yet, admission is free. Save the date because Greek Fest is coming back!
