Though baseball season is already well underway in Milwaukee and the Brewers currently sit in first place a few weeks into the season, there’s another team in the region that’s getting ready to take the field. Yes, the Lakeshore Chinooks will begin their seventh season of Northwoods League baseball on May 28, with a home opener scheduled on May 30.

Beyond the high-caliber play of collegiate standouts at Kapko Park in Mequon, the three-month season also offers fans a number of promotions to help spice up the semi-professional ballgames. Like previous seasons, the Chinooks have a bunch of weird and wonderful giveaways, theme nights, and an appearance by a professional wrestling great. This season is also being billed as “The Summer Of 19,” as many of the promotions will honor Robin Yount.

Some highlights include…

May 31: Mystery Envelope Night
June 8: The Bat Man and Robin bobblehead
June 14: Robin Yount 3,000th hit mini bat
June 23: Robin Yount NWL Championship bobblehead
June 29: Brian Anderson bobblehead
July 6: Robin Yount wine stopper
July 8: Mystery Bobblehead Night
July 14: Rocky Robin bobblehead and What If? Night (and Rockin’ Robins jersey auction)
July 20: Princess & Pirate Night
July 28: Robin Yount induction speech bobblehead
August 4: Pro Wrestling Night featuring WWE Hall Of Famer Rikishi
