Last month, we premiered two tracks from one of our most anticipated Milwaukee albums of the year, The Delphines’ Hush. Our love for the group isn’t exactly a secret, so it’s no surprise that a recently released video for another Hush track, “Screen Door,” hits us right where it counts. Combining The Delphines’ sinewy, jagged garage-rock with bleached-out performance footage and old Super 8 home movies, the video is both agreeably minimal and quietly haunting, not unlike the band itself.
Hush is set for a May 27 release on Gloss Records. Release show details are pending.
