Remember My Office? That little dive bar and restaurant at 763 N. Milwaukee St.? Where you could get a drink and if you were hungry the woman behind the bar might randomly make some spaghetti? Yeah, that was My Office. It closed in 2020, but its spirit will live on in a new bar and restaurant coming to the space this summer. The new joint’s name? Your Office, of course. (Your Office Restaurant & Bar, to be exact.)

According to a press release, Your Office will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails from 7:30 a.m. – 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Your Office is described as a “community establishment—highlighting the people who make Milwaukee a great place to live, work and play.” Oh, and “guests will be encouraged to bring in their awards or trophies that will be proudly displayed in the bar and restaurant.”

Your Office is the brainchild of new owners Lisa Proeber, Nick Starr, and Michael Sorge. Proeber will handle sales, marketing, and public relations. Starr will handle community relations. Sorge, the owner of wine tap bar and restaurant Black Sheep, will be in charge of daily operations.

“Walking into Your Office, you’ll be greeted with a warm interior that feels comfortable yet charming and unpolished,” Proeber says. “The menu is simple and classic. On it, you’ll find the best sandwiches you’ve ever had and craft cocktails at dive bar prices. Your favorite neighborhood bartender will invite you to play a friendly game of bar dice and guests will enjoy pull tabs, slot machines and local sports and entertainment on the TV.”

The press release describes the sandwiches as the “staple of the food menu.” There’ll be craft burgers and breakfast brats, too, all of which patrons can enjoy inside Your Office or via a walk-up window.

Your Office is expected to open in late summer 2025. Keep tabs on its progress on Facebook and Instagram.
