If this summer’s sole Milwaukee Night Market (formerly the NEWaukee Night Market) on August 18 isn’t enough to satiate your night market needs, buckle up for Deer District Market. The new food-focused night market series is coming to the plaza outside Fiserv Forum this summer for seven Wednesdays and one Saturday.

Deer District Market will have an emphasis on “supporting minority-owned businesses, supplying the community with healthy, locally-produced food, and supporting and developing small food businesses.” The markets will run from 5-9 p.m. Here are the dates:

July 28
August 4
August 11
August 25
September 1
September 8
September 15
September 25 (Saturday)

“I’m honored to bring my experience and connections to Deer District to create something new and exciting, building off of all the recent momentum in the district while supporting small business,” says organizer Arthur Ircink, who is also the award-winning PBS show Wisconsin Foodie, in a press release.

Deer District Market will be presented by the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network.

“We’re pleased to partner with Deer District and the Milwaukee Bucks to bring this fun, new event to downtown in a way that promotes healthy eating and support for local food business,” says David Olson, Senior Vice President & Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer, in a press release. “Deer District Market will bring healthy nutritious options within walking distance to more of our community and promote a healthier lifestyle by offering nutritious food choices and education.”
