Even though Milwaukee Record‘s 10th anniversary came and went back in April, “The Year Of Milwaukee Record” is still is full swing, baby! Adding to our ever-growing arsenal of products like T-shirts, gummies, and coffee is the creation of a limited edition spirit that was made in our honor of our tenth trip around the sun.

Yes, the fine folks at Great Lakes Distillery have produced a batch of Milwaukee Record Brandy. This special release brandy was made using Wisconsin-grown grapes that have been aged for two years. Enjoy this 90 proof delicacy on the rocks, in an old fashioned alongside your Friday Fish Fry, as part of a holiday cocktail, and while reading about local happenings on your favorite web-only Milwaukee entertainment publication. This is a single barrel Great Lakes Distillery release, so when it’s gone, it’s gone forever. There will only be 300 bottles of Milwaukee Record Brandy in existence.

Friday, October 18 will be your first opportunity to try Milwaukee Record Brandy and to buy a 750 ml bottle (or bottles!) of your very own. Join us at Great Lakes Distillery for a multi-faceted event we’re calling “A Celebration Of Brandy.” From 6-10 p.m., the distillery’s tasting room will be serving a selection of specialty brandy cocktails. Its in-house Fox Den restaurant will offer a brandy-inspired smash burger for the occasion. Bottles of Milwaukee Record Brandy will be available exclusively at Great Lakes Distillery for $35 (a portion of which supports Milwaukee Record).

Oh, and we’ll be there celebrating the other Brandy—the iconic singer, actor, and model—by DJing a set that features an abundance of her music (as well as some other ’90s and 2000s R&B cuts). Heck, if the Brewers aren’t playing a postseason game, we might even throw Moesha on one of the distillery’s TVs. Come see us at Great Lakes Distillery on Friday, October 18 to celebrate Brandy and to say cheers to 10 years of Milwaukee Record.
