WOW.

Yesterday was incredible. We can’t begin to describe how thankful we are to those who have donated to our GoFundMe campaign and how much we appreciate those who tuned in for some (or, in a few cases, all) of Milwaukee Record’s “14-Hour Socially Distant Telethon” on Facebook Live. The outpouring of generosity, positivity, and kindness we experienced all helped make a long day fly by. Our hearts are full, we now have some financial security during an uncertain economic time, and we thoroughly enjoyed a 14-hour distraction from the world that exists outside our office. We hope we made your Milwaukee Day a little bit brighter as well. Honestly, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Since we’re just plain drained after yesterday’s telethon (and the weeks of planning that preceded it), we’re taking a day to recoup before returning to business as usual. However, if you happened to miss yesterday’s “14-Hour Socially Distant Telethon” or if you caught some of it but you want to watch again, we wanted to post both seven-hour portions of the odd—and hopefully enjoyable—affair.

Part 2

If you happen to enjoy the telethon—or anything else we do in general—and you’d like to help Milwaukee Record weather the coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis, you can still donate to our GoFundMe. We also encourage you to consider donating to relief funds for other Milwaukee businesses. Thank you!
