With tonight’s showing of A Clockwork Orange being the final screening of Avalon Theater‘s well-received “Antihero April” film series, the Bay View cinema (that also brought you “Shocktoberfest” last October, “7 Days Of Christmas” in December, and Hayao Miyazaki films throughout March) wanted to keep the themes going into the month of May. This time around, Avalon will kick off a new month with some classic karate, kung fu, and other ass-kicking flicks for what’s being referred to as “Martial Arts May.” Every Thursday in May, a different celebrated film falling beneath the martial arts umbrella will hit the big screen. All screenings begin at 10 p.m. and cost $5.

How many chances will you have to see The Karate Kid and Enter The Dragon in a theater setting? Trick question. You probably won’t have any other chances to see these movies in a theater any time soon. Here’s the full schedule and links for advance tickets.

Thursday, May 5: Kung Fu Hustle (2004) — Tickets
Thursday, May 12: Enter The Dragon (1973) — Tickets
Thursday, May 19: Big Trouble In Little China (1986) — Tickets
Thursday, May 26: The Karate Kid (1984) — Tickets
