The May 19 release date we reported for Jaill‘s long-awaited fourth full-length, Brain Cream, has come and gone with no record to be heard. Due to vinyl pressing delays, Jaill’s old/new label Burger Records was forced to bump the album’s formal release date to Tuesday, June 30. To make up for the delay, Jaill told Milwaukee Record they plan to unveil Brain Cream in an extra-special way.

On Sunday, June 28, the band will host a free outdoor show and barbeque in the parking lot of Just Art’s Saloon, an iconic Walkers Point tavern. Jaill will be supported by Sugar Stems, Head On Electric, and one more band TBA. Well aware his band is competing with Summerfest, singer-guitarist Vinnie Kircher says the show will begin at 3 p.m. and will likely conclude around 8 p.m. “so, you know, [there’s] no competing with Doobie Bros.” Back in 2012, Jaill celebrated the release of Traps with a show at Bay View Bowl that featured party favors and people dressed as mascots. Weather permitting, this release show looks to be even more memorable.

You can prepare for June 28 by streaming “Getaway” at Consequence Of Sound.
