Hey! On Thursday, June 25, we’ll be livestreaming our inaugural (and hopefully final) Milwaukee Record Virtual Summer Festival! Tune in to our Facebook page from noon until 8 p.m. for a day’s worth of music, sports and games, comedy, summer-related fun, summer-related mayhem, and (virtual) FIREWORKS. Will it be a satisfying substitute for the real thing? Of course not, but at least it’s something.
Here’s the schedule, which we think is pretty locked-in but don’t hold us to that. The Brady Street BID is the presenting sponsor; other sponsors are listed under their respective hours. We’ll be posting artists’ info (Bandcamp, PayPal, Venmo, etc.) in the comments during the stream. We’ll also have a list of vital local organizations that you should support (Black Leaders Organizing for Communities, Love on Black Women, Milwaukee Freedom Fund) on our website on Thursday. See you then!
