To be honest, Black Friday kind of sucks. The consumer holiday serves as an annual reminder of humanity’s inherent greed, its utter disregard for others, and mankind’s general awfulness as people line up in droves, fight, and literally trample bystanders for the sake of a good deal. Though we’re personally not in a rush to participate in any of that, we must admit that it’s been nice to see some bars and breweries get in on the Black Friday festivities in recent years.

Of course, craft beer aficionados are well aware of Lakefront Brewery’s annual Black Friday bottle release (with more variants than ever this year!). Similarly, this otherwise abysmal day has given bars like The Drunk Uncle an excuse to have some amazing deals. This year is no different, with the West Allis wrestling bar slated to offer deep discounts on every beer…and a chance to knock a few back with a former WWF star.

On Friday, November 29, The Drunk Uncle will have a “50 cent Black Friday beer sale.” What does that mean? From noon to 4 p.m., patrons can get any beer Drunk Uncle sells for a mere 50-cent fee. That includes all 48 draft options and “hundreds” of different can and bottled options. After 4 p.m., the beer prices go up to $1, where they’ll stay until close. Also that evening, The Drunk Uncle says former WWF talent Flash Funk will be on hand to hang out “and maybe even pour you a beer.”

Whether you’re a fan of ex-wrestlers and absurd drink specials, or you’re just looking for a cozy place to grab an affordable beer as strangers in department stores do battle for sale-priced electronics, consider making The Drunk Uncle a part of your Black Friday tradition this year.
