It’s all good in the RAY-borhood. Or at least all will be good on Sunday, August 6 when Ray’s Wine & Spirits and Central Waters Brewing once again join forces for one of Wauwatosa’s biggest and best late-summer blowouts. Of course we’re referring to the fifth annual RAY-borhood Barbecue Bash, which will bring more than 20 Central Waters taps, an array of food trucks, DJs, and local retailers to the Tosa beverage behemoth’s spacious parking lot.

From 12-6 p.m., Central Waters beers—including a tiki hut stocked with barrel-aged tiki-themed beers and boozy slushies—will be flowing. Dan and Bill from Rush-Mor Records will be spinning vinyl. Flour Girl & Flame, Sweet Smoke BBQ, K&L’s BBQ, and Trouble Maker’s Cocina will be handling the “Barbecue” portion of the event and serving up other food items as well. Kelly’s Greens CBD Bakery and Highlands Honey will be on-site selling their goods. There will be crafts and yard game for kids. Heck, Ray’s is even bringing in “booty portrait artist” Rachal Duggan of RAD Illustrates for the day.

The event is free and people of all ages are welcome to attend. Make your way to the RAY-borhood on August 6 to partake in great beers, tasty food, and locally-sourced fun at the Barbecue Bash. And tell ’em Milwaukee Record sent you.
