Now more than a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, local restaurants need more support than ever before. With the hope of bringing support to Black-owned establishments, BlankSpace MKE has brought back its Milwaukee Black Restaurant Week for another year. The sixth annual edition—and second straight installment with a curbside focus—encourages diners to order food from an impressive and eclectic grouping of 20 participating Black-owned restaurants between April 12 and April 18.

Among those taking part in this effort are soul food restaurants, barbecue and wing joints, pizza places, cafes and lunch-focused eateries, as well as “specialty” establishments like Immy’s African Cuisine and vegan burger mainstay Twisted Plants. You can check out BlankSpace MKE’s handy Milwaukee Black Restaurant Week guide below for more information and you can follow BlankSpace MKE on Instagram for more updates and info as the week progresses.
