Yep! Milwaukee Record now has its very own Delta 8 gummies. These…nice 69 milligram edibles are produced and sold by Kind Oasis (2169 N. Farwell Ave., 414-877-0253), a local CBD, hemp, and Delta 8 and Delta 9 retailer located on Milwaukee’s East Side. If you’re new to this Delta 8 stuff, a representative from Kind Oasis offered an explanation of this completely legal substance.
“D8 is a Hemp plant-derived substance that is a form of legal THC. D8 causes a very indica-leaning, body-forward ‘high’ feeling. D8 produces that body-forward high in most people, and it causes more of a body relaxing, and pain relieving high than other THC products.”
At 69 mg per gummy, the new Milwaukee Record gummy is now the most potent edible Kind Oasis offers. Prior to this release, the store’s gummies topped out at 50 mg. So unless you’re accustomed to that high of a dosage, we recommend only taking a portion of one gummy at a time. We’re not experts though, so here’s more information from Kind Oasis:
“Edibles tend to take a little longer to process through the body’s metabolism, and will become effective around 45 minutes after eating. These Milwaukee Record gummies are available in assorted sour flavors (green apple, watermelon, and blue raspberry) that come in jars of 20. Jars retail for $49 and are available for purchase both in person at Kind Oasis and on their website. Though they’re available now, we’ll also be hosting a “Gummy Release Event” at Kind Oasis on Friday, April 14, which will feature a solo performance by Ladybird, a local playlist curated by Milwaukee Record, refreshments, and more.
