Is 2017 over yet? Almost? Good. Will 2018 be any better? Maybe? We’ll take it. Anyway, wayward Milwaukee synth-pop outfit GGOOLLDD will be ringing in 2018 at Turner Hall this year, with a New Year’s Eve show that—based on the band’s previous sold-out Turner gigs—will be the party to end all parties. And end 2017.

The NYE show will double as a hometown release show for GGOOLLDD’s upcoming TEETH EP, due December 1. (Pre-order a splatter vinyl now!) 88Nine Radio Milwaukee’s Jordan “Madhatter” Lee will be on hand, too, providing VJ magic throughout the night. Says Lee: “It’s been a great year for GGOOLLDD. They have really helped to put Milwaukee on the map, and are poised to do some even bigger things next year. This party will be a great way to celebrate a stellar 2017, and ring in the new year with a non-stop dance party, GGOOLLDD-STYLE!”

Advance tickets are $25-$85, and go on sale Friday, October 6 at noon. Hopefully The Get Down will find a new New Year’s Eve home.
