Two weeks. One-hundred-six feature films. One-hundred-thirty-eight short films. Two-hundred-eighty-two public screenings on five screens at two theaters. That’s the 2026 Milwaukee Film Festival, folks, set to take over the screens of the Oriental and Downer theaters April 16-30.

Oh, and the full program for the fest is online NOW. (Use the Timeline and Grid layouts to see day-by-day lineups.) DIG IN.

There’s a LOT to love: The Opening Night screening of the new Bob Uecker documentary Ueck. The return of the Stop Making Sense dance party and the Milwaukee Music Video Show. The Milwaukee Record-sponsored Cinema Hooligante program. New films starring Paul Rudd, Adam Scott, and more. HUNDREDS OF OTHER FILMS.

“We’re excited to return with the 18th annual Milwaukee Film Festival, bringing audiences yet another year of the best movies from around the world,” says Milwaukee Film’s Executive Director Susan Kerns in a press release. “The 2026 lineup is a film smorgasbord with world premieres, emerging new artists, and time-tested cinematic masters. Every day will hold a new surprise!”
