Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: your new bestie Wanda.

Meet Wanda! Are you looking for a new bestie? Well, Wanda is about as great a cat as you can get! She has such a sweetheart and is so friendly. She’s a social butterfly and she’s great at everything—playing, snoozing, and cuddling. She does it all! Wanda has leopard spots all over her body that indicate the best place to pet her…everywhere.

Wanda will be shy for a few minutes upon meeting, but as soon as she trusts you, she’s a loyal friend forever. This little lady will greet you at the door and happily receive affection from all folks in the home. She’s super adventurous, curious, and funny! This little love will be happy as an only pet or joining your resident cat(s).
