Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: Nona, a captivating house panther with a heart of gold.

Meet Nona. This sleek house panther is not your ordinary cat, she’s has a heart of gold! Her stunning appearance and charming personality are sure to steal your heart. Nona’s favorite perch is your lap, where she loves to relax and unwind, yet she respects your personal space. Who knew such a perfect balance existed in one furry package?

Nona enjoys gazing out the window, but she’s not one to act on her curiosity. She just loves some good old Squirrel TV. She has a cute chirpy meow that she uses to converse throughout the day. She is a bit of a princess in that she is particular about a clean litter box, but we all know cleanliness is next to godliness.

Nona is open to sharing her space with a laid-back dog companion and respectful children, but will pass on other cats. She wants your lap all to herself. Are you ready to welcome this captivating house panther into your family?
