Last month, we told you about RSVR, a self-described “reservation-based virtual reality experience center,” that will be opening in Bay View. In the article, we noted brothers Ryan and Reid Spiering plan to open RSVR at 2210 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., and that the anticipated opening day was January 1, 2020. Well, over the weekend, Milwaukee’s first dedicated virtual reality experience center officially let the public know its real-life opening date.

According to a November 30 post on RSVR’s Facebook page, the Bay View business will open Thursday, January 2, and they’re now accepting reservations. From the Facebook announcement:

Head to RSVRMilwaukee.com now and be one of the first to experience the premiere destination for Virtual Reality in Milwaukee. Reserve one of our VR stations and try as many of our games and experiences as you can handle. We officially open Thursday January 2nd, 2020 starting at 5:00 p.m. Get your spot now before we fill up!”

You heard ’em! If you want to try out VR gaming a couple days into the new year, don’t delay. What a time to be alive.
