Last June, DanDan and Boone & Crockett joined forces on “The Little Gig,” a block party that brought bands, beverages, and a fleet of food trucks to DanDan’s Third Ward parking lot. Though they didn’t reprise their Summerfest-challenging event this June, the two businesses will bring that winning combination of music, food, and drinks back to DanDan’s parking lot on Sunday, August 5 in the form of the inaugural “Danny Boone Fest.”
Between the hours of noon and 5 p.m., the spacious parcel of concrete at 360 E. Erie Street will celebrate DanDan’s second anniversary in style. Zed Kenzo, Revomatics, Stormchaser, Juke Marciano, and DJ Tarik Moody will supply the music. DanDan, Foxfire, Vanguard, Snack Boys, and Iron Grate BBQ will serve food. Jim Beam, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and other beverage brands will keep whistles wet all afternoon long. If it’s anything like The Little Gig, you won’t want to miss it. See you August 5!
