Every Wednesday at noon, WMSE’s Ryan Schleicher, Shepherd Express’ Evan Rytlewski, and Milwaukee Record’s Matt Wild take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. This half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so named because none of the oft-ridiculous views expressed on the show necessarily reflect the views of the hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon. The Disclaimer: talk radio for the sane.
Milwaukee filmmakers Bobby Ciraldo and Andrew Swant created the infamous video for Samwell’s “What What (In The Butt),” but their new feature-length film is even more out there. Actually, calling Hamlet A.D.D. a “new” film is a bit misleading, as the project has been in production for 10 years. Before the film makes its Milwaukee premiere May 15 at the Oriental Theatre, Ryan, Evan, and Matt chat with the filmmaking duo about their comedic green-screen take on Shakespeare’s classic, the film’s wonderfully weird guest stars (Dustin Diamond! Neil Hamburger! Kumar Pallana! More!), and recording material in Majel Barrett-Roddenberry’s living room.
