Jeff Grygny is an independent writer and general humanities guy. He has taught literature and performance at several respectable institutions, and now lives comfortably outside academia. He once rescued a raccoon from a dumpster, and also lived upstairs from the band Uncle Tupelo (really!). He has created and collaborated in numerous original performance works, and designed, directed, and performed around the USA. For the past seven years he has written about local arts for various print and online publications, including the Milwaukee Theater Examiner and the Milwaukee A.V. Club, with a special interest in the edgier, weirder, and geekier side of Milwaukee's lively theater scene. He currently resides in Milwaukee with the best little dog ever.
