Look out, Wisconsin Udder Tuggers! There’s a new hilarious and awesome sports logo in town. Today, the Milwaukee Admirals announced they will “Salute [Their] History” by wearing this amazing alternate logo during its April 4 game.
According to this informative article on SportsLogos.net, “the Admirals nickname derives from Admiral refrigerators, the signature item sold by local businessman and appliance store owner Erwin Merar Frank, who purchased the team in 1970.”
What else is there to say? The Admirals are going to wear a refrigerator logo on its sweaters on April 4 as part of the team’s ’70s Night promotion and it’s going to be awesome.
