If you’ve been to enough concerts in Milwaukee, you’ve almost certainly seen Shea Frevele. You’d have a tough time finding a bigger supporter of the local music scene. Through the years, she’s sold merch for a bunch of Milwaukee bands, bought records and T-shirts from countless other area acts, attended hundreds of local shows, and even made cameos in a few Milwaukee music videos along the way. She’s eternally upbeat, extraordinarily selfless, and has been supportive of more local musicians, businesses, and causes than we could ever possibly mention here.

On Tuesday, June 6, an amazing lineup of local musicians will take the stage at Cactus Club to show their appreciation for the Milwaukee music super supporter (and also celebrate her birthday) during a “Shea Day” concert. This display of Shea-centric gratitude will be headlined by Field Report, who will treat Milwaukee to a rare full-band performance in a club setting. In addition to Field Report’s presence, Dramatic Lovers will play one of its final concerts of 2023 and Long Mama will open things up with a trio set featuring its founding members. DJ Caleb Westphal will also spin 45s before the show, after the show, and between bands.

“Shea Day” starts at 7:30 p.m. (6:30 p.m. doors) on Tuesday, June 6. This 18+ Cactus Club show has a $15 cover. Advance tickets are not available, so show up early if you want to snag a spot. Between the outstanding lineup and the person being celebrated, this could sell out fast once doors open.
