First off, thanks to everyone who came to last night’s sold-out screening of Wild At Heart. It was a great time, but as awesome as it was, we feel like we’ve really 1UPed ourselves with next month’s film selection. That’s right, moviegoers! We’re screening Scott Pilgrim vs. The World at Avalon Theater on Wednesday, February 28 and tickets are on sale NOW!

Based on the Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series, this 2010 Edgar Wright-directed vehicle features the film’s slacker namesake (played by peak Michael Cera) doing battle with the “Seven Evil Exes” of his new girlfriend Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) while also trying to win a battle of the bands in order to score a record deal. The comic-inspired, video game-tinged, and all-around innovative comedy also boasts a stacked supporting ensemble that includes the likes of Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick, Chris Evans, Brie Larson, Aubrey Plaza, and Jason Schwartzman.

The box office-bust-turned cult classic has it all: laughs, action, legitimately good music, and a star-studded young cast that all comes together to forge a truly unique cinematic experience. Reserved-seating tickets to the 7 p.m. show (sponsored by Lakefront Brewery and Gruber Law Offices) are $11 and, we repeat, are on sale NOW. Whether you’re seeing it on the big screen for the very first time or you want to recapture some of that 2010s movie magic, you won’t want to miss our February 28 screening of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. We’ll see you there!
