Breaking chews, Burger Brigade and Spoon Nation! Today, just a few days after Doughboys had a sold-out show at Thalia Hall in Chicago, we’re thrilled to let you know the popular chain restaurant podcast will return to the Midwest to perform a live show in Milwaukee this fall.

On Thursday, October 3, hosts Nick Wiger—a certified So-Cal surfer dude who’s something of a heat-seeker—and Quincy’s favorite son Mike “Spoon” (the artist formerly known as “Spoon Man”) Mitchell will bring their wildly successful show to The Back Room @ Colectivo. Barring another show being added elsewhere in the state in the coming months, this will be the first time Doughboys will have a show in Wisconsin.

Could this show finally bring about a long-awaited review of Culver’s (perhaps the biggest omission in the podcast’s catalog)? Will they try a bunch of local “brewdogs” in the Drank Or Stank segment? Will Wiger and Mitch argue a lot and make fun of Yusong—even though he did nothing wrong—before threatening to fire him? Yours truly at Milwaukee Record (a proud presenting sponsor of this historic event) will do our best to help make all of this happen, but we all know The Doughboys can’t be bought.

Tickets cost $20 (or $50 for VIP Meet & Great tickets) and they officially go on-sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 21. However, pre-sale tickets will also be available by entering the code “DOUGH” between noon on Wednesday, June 19 and 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, June 20.

Wow.
