Here at Milwaukee Record, we employ a sentient machine known as the Great Job, Wisconsin! Bot to keep track of the state’s many appearances on dopey online lists, as well as any time a national publication deigns to acknowledges our pathetic Midwest existence. Enjoy?

Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, we figured we’d give you a couple of reasons to feel thankful you’re a Wisconsinite. That’s right! Our fair state ranked high on TWO separate lists from services that evaluate hyper-specific things using less-than-through methods in order to gather data. They have nothing to do with each other, but you’re probably looking for a distraction from work on this holiday-shortened week, so we’re just going to talk about both of ’em in one article.

First, those trusted folks at whatever the hell Solitaire Bliss is have declared Wisconsin to have the 8th most competitive drivers in the US of A as part of a survey about a variety of competitive behaviors.

The survey also indicates Wisconsin residents are “the top state to accelerate to a light even if they aren’t in a rush,” and that we’re the second-to-least competitive state when it comes to health and fitness goals. So yeah, uh, not great stuff from Solitaire Bliss!

In better news, frequent “Great Job, Milwaukee/Wisconsin” source WalletHub says Wisconsin has the nation’s 5th highest credit score with a very respectable 718. Minnesota tops the list at 725, but we’re still way ahead of Illinois and Michigan, who rank 28th and 29th respectively.

Maybe we’re accelerating to stop lights to we can pay our credit card bills as early as possible? It’s just a theory. Great job, Wisconsin! We’re competitive drivers who have good credit and next-to-no fitness goals.
