Famed astrophysicist, popular Star Talk podcaster, and Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey host Neil deGrasse Tyson is going to drop some knowledge on Milwaukee in December. Months removed from Sunday’s Cosmos season finale (hopefully the universe has enough material left for a second season), the transcendent scientist will discuss matters of science and space at Riverside Theater Thursday, December 11. The appearance is Dr. Tyson’s first such show in the Midwest, excluding rare lectures at small universities. Judging by his body of work (and his disdain for Internet badasses), the event holds the promise of being both deeply enlightening and absolutely entertaining.
Reserved seating tickets will be available at $35, $55, and $75 price levels. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 13 at noon.
