You can add another festival to the list. Yesterday, which was the same day Polish Fest and Festa Italiana announced they would be postponing and/or canceling their 2020 events, Milwaukee Psych Fest also announced it would be postponing its festivities indefinitely as a precautionary measure to limit the spread of coronavirus/COVID-19.

Though the 8th annual Milwaukee Psych Fest will no longer be happening at The Cooperage May 7-9 as originally planned, founder and organizer Andrew Shelp intends to reschedule the festival to a later date. Here’s Shelp’s official announcement:

“MPF 8 is officially being postponed and being rescheduled. I will let you know what dates it might possibly be rescheduled to ASAP and we will go from there. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe, strong and vigilant out there and please remember, it’s not just about your own health but everyone else’s as well. All of this being said, I’m looking at making the festival the most insane it’s ever been and I plan on going all in for whatever date I can make it happen on!”

Stay tuned for updates on Milwaukee Psych Fest’s new dates as more information becomes available.
